The answer's simple: go to the 2018 Adams County Fair!

Denver is a bustling metropolis that offers some of the country's finest cuisines, swankiest bars, and breathtaking cityscapes, but what if you're looking to get out of the city? What if you just want to put your boots on, let your hair down, and have a down-home summer night? Then put this year's Adams County Fair in your scope.

This year they've got the standards – rodeo, live entertainment, a demolition derby, rides, games, beer, funnel cakes – covered, and then there are the extras. The chart-busting country phenom Granger Smith will be performing the night away. Senior Day where seniors can catch up with friends, play bingo and be catered to. Grooves and Brews which will be featuring local bands, including Optycnerd SF1, and local craft microbrews. And of course, there's a kids day featuring a ropes course, inflatable slide, pedal tractors, local sports mascots, and a whole lot more.

As if that weren't enough, there's an NSPA Truck Pull and the Funnel Cake 5k & 1-Mile Fun Run – a race that benefits Adams County Foster Kids.

Still not sure if you want to go? Check it out!

The fairgrounds are only a 30-minute drive from Denver and tickets can be purchased online. For exact details, tickets, dates, and schedules, check out the Adams County Fairground website!
