As previous years before, the Tiny House Festival will feature more than 40 small living structures. Each one of them having their own one-of-a-kind floor plan, meaning there’s no two that are the same. Not only will there be tiny homes, but also yurts, gypsy wagons, container homes, and van conversions. Yes, you will be able to tour the different homes, so bring some friendly slip-on shoes because you may be asked to take off your shoes when touring some of the homes.

With event speakers, tiny house homeowners, and experts on the scene, you can also learn and get answers for any and all questions about living a greener, simpler lifestyle. After all, the rising popularity of tiny homes is hard to ignore. Tiny house homeowners also have less debt than their normal-sized homeowner counterparts.

Seems like a good option so far, right? What’s more attractive than living with less debt and a smaller carbon footprint? But, where to start? The festival already has that question answered for you.

Making its debut this year, the Tiny House Festival will be offering a skoolie (motorhome) build workshop where you can learn from two instructors on how to convert school buses into sustainable homes. It’s not one of those boring, long lecture workshops where you might as well fall asleep. This is a HANDS-ON workshop where you can learn everything from choosing the right school bus/vehicle to framing and plumbing.
