Your middle school dreams are becoming a reality.

No, this isn’t a dream. Yes, this is actually happening. Fall Out Boy, Green Day, and Weezer had dominion over all of our ears in the 1990s and early 2000s with their alternative rock. Now, they’re coming together for the tour of our dreams. The hype is too real (we’ve already started listening to our new favorite Spotify playlist).

Cleverly dubbed the Hella Mega Tour, the three bands will tour across the world and then fill up Commerce City’s Dick Sporting Goods Park on July 28, 2020. Good thing, too! Because everyone and their inner emo child will be in attendance.

General sale of tickets begins on September 20, but if you cannot wait much longer, the North American pre-sale started on September 16. More dates and ticket information can be found here.

Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong spoke with Rolling Stone about the announcement:

"We talked about how we weren’t really wanting to do stadiums and do something that was like throwback to the Monsters of Rock Tour," he told Rolling Stone. "There was, of course, Fall Out Boy and Weezer and now we’re stoked.”

Oh, and all three bands are releasing new music to promote the tour. (Can you hear us screaming with excitement?!)
