Thrice's Chroma is a new pop-up immersion event that goes beyond dining and mixology with a celebration of the color spectrum.

“Lick an orange. It tastes like an orange. The strawberries taste like strawberries! The snozzberries taste like snozzberries!” This recognizable quote comes from a very famous chocolate factory and the little boy who had the chance to experience it all because he had a very special golden ticket. This was also the third clue Thrice, a pop-up eatery, teased to introduce their new pop-up event.

Chroma is Thrice’s new pop-up immersive event coming to Denver later this month. Its focus is exactly as it’s titled: colors. The celebration of all color in all of the five senses. Or as they say, "experience the spectrum of color through all five senses."

This is Thrice’s second pop-up event since their debut. Their first was a Korean-Barbie-Q. Where most of the colors were pink and the experience in itself was "here for a weird time, not a long time," Thrice hopes to outdo themselves in their second event by making guests think.

The event is divided up in three events on selected days. The first is Uchi Culinary Journey, a dinner with seven courses based on the spectrum of the rainbow, and it will take place on May 29 and June 5. Chroma features Chef Brandon Brumback of Uchi who is curating a custom menu just for this event. This event is ticketed at $175 per person with limited seats available.

The second event is Chroma Mixology, which is a cash bar event taking place on May 31 and June 1. Like the dinner event, the late night event offers seven custom-made cocktails to try based on color. There will also be an immersive art experience with projections and a silent disco, as well as sound and light effects that are sure to please the mind. What makes this event stand out is that there will be a professional spiritual consultant who will read your aura, tell you what color you are, and explain what it all means.

If drinking isn’t your style, the aura reader will also be present at Chroma’s third event, Chroma Yoga. This is a one-day event on June 2 will be held at three different times: 7 a.m., 11 a.m., and 2 p.m. While there will be refreshments, the focus is not on food or drinks. Rather, it's more on exploring color and chakras through your body.

All of this is taking place at S*Park on 25th and Lawerence. Proceeds will benefit the RiNo Art District, so money from this once-in-a-lifetime art event will go back into the community and also benefit Thrice’s team of dreamers, artists, and designers to continue doing what they love to do: bring the weird and the beautiful to Denver.
