From happy smiles to curious faces, there are plenty of social animals up for adoption this week!

With help from the local shelters, we've compiled a list of the cutest pets available in Maryland. Check out this week's adorable options!

Maryland SPCA | Baltimore

The Maryland SPCA is a great organization that can be found at 3300 Falls Road, Baltimore, MD 21211 – contact them at 410-235-8826 if you have any questions about the pets. Check out their adoption policy here! And don't forget to check them out on Facebook!

Frank, 3

Can you see his happy smile? This lucky guy has been named pet-of-the-month by the staff! He would do best in a home with another dog as he was very playful with the other dogs at the playgroup – Frank does love rough play so please be sure that your other pet is understanding. He is currently working on his impulse control so he would require some training. Consider him here!

Ciao Bella, 5

Ciao Bella has an active nature and a loud mouth! There will not be one quiet or boring moment with her in your home – you won't regret it! She does have Feline Immunodeficiency Virus so she will require extra visits to the vet, a healthy diet, and need to be kept indoors. Meet her here!

Animal Care Shelter for Kent County | Chestertown

The Animal Care Shelter is the local shelter for Chestertown, Maryland, and can be found at 10720 Augustine Herman Hwy, Chestertown, Maryland, 21620. Contact them at 410-778-3648 if you have any questions. Check out their adoption policy here!

Apple, 5

Annie Dog

Courtesy of Animal Care Shelter for Kent County

Apple is a timid girl who lived most of her life outdoors, so she will need to be acclimated to indoor life. She will need to be introduced slowly to new things, such as doorways (a current fear of hers), understanding her safe space, where she sleeps, eats, and more! Apple is dog-selective, so a meet-and-greet is required, but she would do fine with calm children in the home! Pick her up here!

Chicken, 2

Can you see how curious her face is? This means that she will want space to explore her new habitat! Chicken will need to be the only animal in the home as she is not good with other cats – she is a princess after all. Check her out here!
