Armando Lujan totals six TDs to lead Sunray football past Hawley in area playoff round
The Sunray football team won a Region I-2A Division I area championship on Friday night, taking down Hawley 49-40 at First United Liberty Park. The Bobcats (12-0, 5-0) and Bearcats (10-2, 4-1) met in the second round of the Class 2A playoffs after Sunray beat Olton and Hawley knocked off Ozona in the first round.
