Hiker gets helicopter ride
The first responders decided the best way to remove the hiker was by airlift. A state police helicopter hoisted the hiker out of the woods and transported them to the fire department headquarters on Tinker Street. The hiker was then transported to the hospital by a backup ambulance crew.
