Car crashes into building on Baxter Avenue Sunday morning, Louisville police say
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A vehicle crashed into a building on Baxter Avenue early Sunday morning, according to Louisville Metro Police. LMPD spokesperson Dwight Mitchell said police responded to a crash in the 400 block of Baxter Avenue, near Lexington Road, around 4 a.m. Once police arrived on scene, they found a vehicle inside a building.
Lexington Police investigate homicide following shooting downtown
LEXINGTON, KY (LEX 18) — One person was killed in a shooting in Lexington late Saturday night. It happened just before 11 p.m. on East Fifth Street, according to Lexington Police. When officers got on scene, they found a man who had been shot. He was taken to the hospital where LPD says the man died from his injuries.
