Pedestrian dies after being struck by train in Old Orchard Beach
OLD ORCHARD BEACH, Maine — Two pedestrians were hit by a train in Old Orchard Beach on Wednesday, and one of those pedestrians died. It happened around 11 a.m. near the Amtrak platform on 1st Street. However, the train involved in the crash was owned by CSX Transportation, a CSX spokesperson Austin Staton told NEWS CENTER Maine.
