Money laundering scheme results in federal conviction
Brian T. Owen, 52, of Caddo Parish, LA pleaded guilty Tuesday, October 22, 2024 to money laundering. The announcement was made by United States Attorney Brandon B. Brown. United States District Judge S. Maurice Hicks Jr. presided over the hearing.

Shreveport man wanted for alleged rape of two minors
SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - The Shreveport Police Department is looking for a man accused of raping two minors. Police say Curtis Rivers, 56, is wanted for first-degree rape and molestation of a juvenile. The charges are from two separate incidents involving two different victims, police say. If convicted, Rivers faces life in prison.
