"Baby Shark Live!", Glow at The Gardens, and the Blue Man Group all made our list of things to do this week in Denver.
As we creep closer and closer to Halloween, there are plenty of spooky and not-so-spooky events and celebrations happening. We looked at what’s going on in the Mile High City, and we have concerts, art shows, and an annual food and drink extravaganza to add to your calendar. Here are some fun things to do in Denver this week, October 21-24.
Monday, October 21
Claude Monet Exhibition
When: October 21, 2019—February 2, 2020
Where: Denver Art Museum

Claude Monet: The Truth of Nature is now open at the Denver Art Museum, and it promises to be a breathtaking experience. Over 120 of Monet’s paintings will be on display, focusing on the famed painter’s lifelong relationship with nature. This is a hot ticket to get, and though there are multiple showings, some dates are already sold out!
Glow at The Gardens

See hundreds of glowing pumpkins, pumpkin sculptures, lantern lined pathways, and enjoy trick-or-treating, live performances, a carnival, and more.
Denver Job Fair
When: October 21, 11 a.m.–2 p.m.
Where: Doubletree by Hilton Denver
Price: Free
This event is intended to connect job seekers with employers and will have representatives from local and national companies and businesses. There will be plenty of connections to be made, and job seekers can register online. Have resumes ready and be prepared for on the spot interviews!

Blue Man Group - Speechless Tour

Where: DCPA's Buell Theatre

The famed performance art group brings its immersive performance to the Denver Performing Arts Center. Music, art, comedy, and the obscure can all be expected!
Pumpkin Carving & Decorating Contest
When: October 22, 5 p.m.–7 p.m.
Where: Stanley Beer Hall
Price: Free
Stanley Beer Hall hosts its second annual Pumpkin Carving & Decorating Contest. For each parent and child pair, one pumpkin and all the carving tools you could possibly need will be provided.

This soulful crooner seems far beyond his 22 years, as he has made a big impression on the music scene. His songs have topped the charts and he continues to connect with the audience through raw, emotional, and relatable songs.
Wednesday, October 23
Harry Potter Think & Drink: The Dark Arts + Costume Contest
When: October 23, 6:30–8:30 p.m.
Where: St. Vrain Cidery
Price: Free
The monthly "Think & Drink" discussion will focus on The Dark Arts, perfect for the spooky season. Craft ciders and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. Children and well-behaved dogs are welcome, though seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Taste of Greenwood Village
When: October 23, 4:30–8:30 p.m
Where: Denver Marriott Tech Center
Price: Starts at $63
Get your much on at this year’s food and drink extravaganza. For the 19th year and counting, the event will feature over 50 local restaurants and award-winning wine from Molly’s Spirits. Luxury cars will be displayed throughout the evening, along with live music and dancing. Lots of tasting, mingling with local artists, and fun to be had. The event will benefit the Bags of Fun organization.
Thursday, October 24
"Baby Shark Live!"
When: October 24, 6 p.m.
Where: Paramount Theatre

"Doo doo doo doo doo!" Oh, yes. Baby Shark is live and on stage in Denver. This is sure to be a night of family fun as the yellow shark and friends come alive. Singing, dancing, costumes, our favorite characters, and worldwide sensation promise to put a smile on your face—and a song in your head!
Natasha Bedingfield
When: October 24, 8 p.m.
Where: Gothic Theatre
Price: Starts at $35
Award-winning singer-songwriter Natasha Bedingfield will be in Denver to share her hit songs and connect with the Mile High City. Her mix of pop and R&B has made her one of the UK’s hottest artists and an internationally known voice.
