Denver Mineral, Fossil & Gem Show

Where: National Western Complex + Denver Coliseum

The multi-day event is the largest show of this kind in the country with 17 food trucks, kids activities, 450 vendors, and features enormous selection of fossils, minerals, gemstones, beads, crystals, turquoise, gold, silver, meteorites, crystals, art, Native American artifacts, lapidary,  tools, antique jewelry, and a heck of a lot more.

Miss Saigon

The acclaimed presentation of Broadway musical classic Miss Saigon comes to the Buell Theatre. The love story of a young Vietnamese woman named Kim and American G.I. Chris features a cast of 42 and promises “an epic journey of survival”.  Some scenes may not be suitable for a younger audience.

Colorado Rockies vs St. Louis Cardinals

When: September 10-12
Where: Coors Field
Price: Starting at $8

There are still a few chances to catch a game while the weather is warm. The Rockies will host the Cardinals for three games this week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. September 11 is the promotional night for $1 hot dogs.

Wednesday, September 11

2019 Colorado Memorial 9/11 Stair Climb

When: September 11
Where: Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater
Price: Free | Those over age 10 receive a free t-shirt

The annual stair climb event honors the lives and sacrifices of those first responders who so bravely gave their lives on 9-11-2001. Climbers pay tribute to and honor those lost by climbing the equivalent of the 110 stories of the World Trade Center, symbolically completing the journey those men and women began that day. All ages are welcome to attend.

Tycho puts on a show that combines visual experience with the sound of music. The electronic ambient music is emotional and accompanied by vibrant visuals and images. The group meshed sounds and visuals for a very immersive sound and, by all reports, it is an impressive sensory experience.

Thursday, Septemeber 12

KISS - End of the Road Tour

When: September 12, 7:30 p.m., doors open at 6 p.m.
Where: Pepsi Center

The legendary rock band will take the Pepsi Center stage for what is sure to be a crazy show. With over 100 million albums sold worldwide, there is no question that this band is one of the greats. A great chance to "Rock and Roll All Nite" with some of the greatest rockers out there.

Growing Minds Storytime in The Garden

When: September 12, 10 a.m.
Where: Hudson Gardens and Event Center – Song Bird Garden”
Price: $3 per child, event is for ages 3-5 and parents

Bring the little ones out for a walk in the garden and storytime on an adventure through the natural world. The morning even is full of art, movement, science, and, of course, stories. It is an outdoor event so dress for the changing weather!
