National Folk Festival | Salisbury, MD | Friday–Sunday

Join music fans at Maryland's Eastern Shore for a weekend of America's unique cultural traditions! Enjoy performances from over 350 artists as well as craft cuisine, workshops, and more! Anyone who loves music will love this festival! Admission is free. Find out more here!

Rosslyn Jazz Festival | Gateway Park | Arlington, VA | Saturday 

The 29th annual jazz extravaganza is back in Arlington! From 1 to 7 p.m., experience genre-bending jazz artists The Suffers, Cha Wa, and local band JoGo Project in the hip Gateway Park. The best part? It's all free! Check out the schedule here. 

Stonebridge Fall Fest and Chili Cookoff | Potomac Town Center | Woodbridge, VA | Saturday

Fall is here, which means the season of chili cookoffs is among us! Sample delicious chili varieties and check out entertainment including DJ sets, live music, face-painting, and more at this spacious shopping center. Admission is free. You can read about it here.

Maryland Seafood Festival | Sandy Point State Park | Annapolis, MD | Saturday–Sunday

Gather at Sandy Point State Park for a Maryland-appropriate seafood shindig! Taste savory seafood dishes and craft beer along with live music, demonstrations, and a crab-eating contest! It's a 50+ year tradition you won't want to miss! General admission is $15. You can check it out here!

Sneaker Con | Walter E. Washington Convention Center | Saturday-Sunday

Shuffle on over to "The Greatest Sneaker Show on Earth!" All weekend, sneakerheads can gather to trade and sell kicks or add new ones to their collection. Get your favorites authenticated by professionals in the industry, or take a sneak-peak of everyone's sickest shoes. Tickets are $25-$40. Check it out here!

9th Annual Bands, Brews, & Barbecue | Manassas Museum Lawn | 9101 Prince William Street | Manassas, VA | Saturday

Amazing barbecue abounds in the DMV, and this Manassas tradition is no exception! Try mouth-watering barbecue and samples from Bold Rock Hard Cider, South Street Brewery, and others while live music plays in the background. Taster tickets are $50 and come with a special glass and wristband for your sampling pleasure. Prices go up at the door, so buy them today!

George Washington Patriot Run | George Washington's Mount Vernon | Sunday

For your next 5K/10K, take a scenic route with the Patriot Run in Mount Vernon! Soak in the history as you run through George Washington Parkway and end with a refreshing beer. Phantogram | The Anthem | Friday

With their addictive mix of pop, shoegaze, and electronic, this indie-pop outfit is heading to the Anthem! Drift into the ether with the wintery "Don't Move" and "Black Out Days" that will have you moving all night! Canadian duo Bob Moses will open and tickets are $40-$75. Buy them here!

ThePianoGuys | Wolf Trap | Friday
