Hampton Roads
A Celtic Christmas
TCC Roper Performing Arts Center, Norfolk | Friday and Saturday
Kick the holiday festivities up a notch with a traditional Irish Christmas concert. The King's Choir of Hampton Roads will be performing along with Scottish fiddler, Paul Anderson; Scottish singer, Shona Anderson; and an array of local musicians. Tickets are $5-$15 each! Battle of Great Bridge
Battlefield South Park, Chesapeake | Saturday and Sunday
Take a step back in time to 1775 when the "Battle of Great Bridge" occurred and witness actors re-enact the battle in Battlefield South Park. Once the re-enactment has concluded, visitors are invited to walk around the battlefield and see how the soldiers lived, ate, worked, and more through demonstrations and lectures. The event is free. Dickens After Dark
Nauticus, Norfolk | Friday
Are you looking for a unique way to start off the holiday season? Well, "Dickens After Dark" will offer you the opportunity to eat special 21-and-up smores, drink delicious locally made cocktails, and sit around a warm bonfire while watching A Christmas Carol! Holiday Parade at the Beach
Virginia Beach Oceanfront | Saturday
See the largest Hampton Roads holiday parade, featuring over 90 floats, local bands, large balloons, dance groups, and more. This is a highly anticipated event every year, so you won't want to miss it! Read more about it here!

The Nutcracker
Chrysler Hall, Norfolk | Friday–Sunday
The Richmond Ballet, The State Ballet of Virginia, and Virginia Symphony Orchestra come together to bring one of Tchaikovsky's most famous works to life on the Chrysler Hall stage. The Nutcracker combines Christmas themes, a dilemma, classical ballet dancing, and a love story that defies odds. Tickets are $25-$27 each. See more on Visit Norfolk!

Drifty's Naughty or Nice List
Swift Creek Mill Theatre | Ongoing
Drifty's Naughty or Nice List is a who-done-it play that solves the mystery of who stole the "Naughty or Nice List." To stir up trouble, Drifty attempts to earn himself a spot on the list of suspects, and Pepita the Elf challenges Ivan to a dance-off. Tickets prices differ depending on the show time and date. Dominion Energy Christmas Parade
Science Museum of Virginia | Ongoing
Put on your jackets, gloves, and hats as you prepare for the biggest parade in Richmond. Here, you can see festive floats, dance routines, marching bands, large balloons, and Santa! The parade is free to the public. Read more here!

Symphony Pops 2: Let It Snow!
Dominion Energy Center | Saturday and Sunday
The Richmond Symphony Orchestra will perform the "sounds of the season," for one weekend only. Hear popular songs such as "Let it Snow" and "Oh Christmas Tree." Tickets are $10-$82 each. Read more here!

Williamsburg
Williamsburg Christmas Parade
800 Richmond Road | Saturday
The theme of this year's parade is "Jingle All The Way" and will feature interactive floats. The Williamsburg parade brings together the community and local businesses for a day of cheer. The parade is free and open to the public. See it here!

Williamsburg Symphony Orchestra Holiday Pops
Kimball Theatre | Saturday and Sunday
Enjoy the sounds of the season with the Williamsburg Symphony, guest conductor Silas Huff, and soloist Tommy Wazelle. The symphony will play seasonal favorites such as "Deck the Halls" and "Let it Snow!" Tickets are $15-$30 each. Read more here!
