Family Fun Movie Night | Ocean View Beach Park, Norfolk | Friday

Family Fun Movie Night brings together locals from around Hampton Roads for a night of children's activities, live music, delicious food, art, and an outdoor movie under the stars. Each week features a different film, and this week's screening will be of The Jungle Book. The event is free and open to the public. Check it out here!

Lavell Crawford | The Virginia Beach Funny Bone | Friday–Sunday

The Virginia Beach Funny Bone is hosting a special event for one funny comedian, Lavell Crawford, who is best known for his role in Breaking Bad!! If you are in need of a good relatable laugh, then check out his comedy special. Lavell discusses his personal life struggles such as family, dating, school, and more so you can get to know the actor up, close, and personal. Tickets are $30 each. Get them here! Virginia Honey Bee Festival | Norfolk Botanical Garden | Saturday

Do you want to be a future beekeeper? Then check out the Virginia Honey Bee Festival. The Beekeepers Guild of Southeast Virginia will be hosting a day of activities, bee-related products for purchase, and plenty of learning opportunities including how to purchase your own bee plants and how to care for the bees. Richmond

Live Reggae With Space Koi | Castleburg Brewery and Taproom | Friday

Get ready to bob your head to a talented band man! Space Koi is a local reggae favorite who combines reggae with different genres to create their unique and out-of-this-world sound! Nature Connects: Art With LEGO Bricks | Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden | Ongoing

Artist Sean Kenney will be showcasing 24 sculptures in 13 different displays around the garden. The sculptures will advocate for the interconnectivity of all living things and display the beauty in nature's creatures! Tickets are $11-$13 each or free for members.
