No injuries have been reported.

Fiat Crysler—now Stellantis—is recalling its 2021 line of heavy-duty Ram trucks due to the risk of an engine fire. Some owners are being told to park the vehicles outdoors, away from structures because of this.

More than 20,000 trucks in the U.S. and Canada are being recalled.

According to the company, the pickup and chassis cab trucks have heater electrical relays that can short and overheat, and even cause fires in rare cases. The trucks have 6.7-liter Cummins diesel engines.

Three fires have been reported, but no injuries. The vehicles involved were not customers'.

Stellantis states that it's developing a repair and the recall is expected to start on April 30.

If you're an owner, you can call the customer service line (880)-853-1403 or check online.
