Hand sanitizer is one of those hot items that you probably haven't seen on store shelves in quite a while. Here are four vendors that are currently making and selling it to customers online.

I don't know about you, but one of the most frustrating things about trying to shop in a post-COVID world is not being able to find what you need the most. The low price point for simplest tools against the highly contagious virus have people hoarding products like face masks and hand sanitizer.

Sure, you can make your own soapless cleanser if you can find the ingredients, but when was the last time you saw isopropyl alcohol at the store? Some states are lucky enough to have local distilleries producing their own bottles of the stuff, but even those are getting overrun with walk-in and community orders.

As of the time of publication, these four vendors all have hand sanitizer in stock and available for purchase. Remember, wherever you buy it, you want to make sure that the product has at least 60 percent alcohol, per the guidelines put out by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

1. Orly

The international nail polish company quickly converted part of their L.A. manufacturing efforts to creating this vegan, 75 percent alcohol hand spray. You can get four 2-ounce spray bottles for $24 and a portion of the proceeds for the first 10,000 bottles will be donated to local charities in the city of Los Angeles.

2. Vel-Ray

This Texas-based automotive detailing manufacturer usually makes car washes, polishes, and car accessories. Now, you can turn to them for a 75 percent alcohol gel in a variety of sizes that start at $9.99 for an 8-ounce bottle. Bonus, it smells refreshingly minty!

3. Total CBD

This Kentucky-based CBD company is using some of its alcohol byproducts to create their own simple line of hand sanitizing gel. You can buy it online starting at $4.99 for a 1-ounce pocket sized bottle.

4. Classic Shaving

This grooming company has everything from 4-ounce bottles of hand sanitizer for $13.79 to bulk orders or larger cases. They are also producing hand sanitizing wipes and will work with organizations for larger orders.

Don't forget: the CDC suggests washing your hands as the most effective way to ward off COVID-19, but using hand sanitizer is the next best thing when soap and water aren't available. One of the best things about buying it online is being able to stay out of the stores!

Have you found another source for hand sanitizer that does online sales? Tell us where in the comments!
