Feet in the sand and a drink in your hand!

Whether you’re looking for creative cocktails, live music, or dinner with a view, Ocean City has you covered with a variety of bars and nighttime host spots. They range from tropical getaways and dockside dining to beachfront hotels and local favorites. Have fun, enjoy the view, and keep it socially distant, folks.

For a bit of stateside Jamaica, we recommend Seacrets. The happening beach bar sits on Isle of Wight Bay and consistently wins Best of Ocean City awards for its island atmosphere, Caribbean cocktails, and variety of stages and dance floors. You can dine indoors, at the bar, outdoors in the sand, and even in the water. Live music venues range from the tiki stage and beach stage to the Nite Club and the Pier Stage at Da’Bay.

Seacrets Distilling Company is just down the street at 111 49th Street and offers tours and tastings as well as a Speakeasy Room for private parties and special events.

Just off of the Ocean City Boardwalk, along Isle of Wight Bay, Fish Tales opened in 1983 and features daily happy hours with food and drink specials from 3 to 6 p.m. Choose from orange crushes, mudslides, margaritas, original concoctions, and draft selections.

The menu offers steamed ribs, shrimp, tacos, burgers, seared ahi tuna, and crab cake platters. Sit at the dock bar and watch as the catch of the day is cleaned and filleted by the charter fleets. There’s a large enclosed playground for the kiddos.

Coconuts Beach Bar & Grill

3701 Atlantic Avenue / Ocean City, Maryland 21842

Located at Castle in the Sand Hotel, the beachfront Coconuts has daily happy hours from 5 to 6 p.m. with 2-for-1 drink specials. That’s a great deal to try out the wide variety of frozen cocktails, rum punch, and crush drinks. The open-air venue serves lunch and dinner with selections like hot dogs, burgers, wraps, Jamaican grilled mahi, and jerk chicken. If you’re noticing an island theme, you’re not mistaken. The hotel’s sister hotel is the Green Turtle Club in the Abacos, Bahamas.
