Art All Night: Made in DC involves eight popular neighborhoods that become home to visual art installations and performances in indoor and outdoor spaces for the public to see! You'll have the chance to see paintings, photography, fashion, and sculptures around the city. Or you can watch musical, theater, dance, film, and poetry performances happening as well.

The festival began in 2011 as an effort to bring Paris's famous Nuit Blanche overnight arts and culture festival to D.C. Then, the festival was redesigned to include more than just art and to create a "creative placemaking opportunity that gave equal importance to the art and to the places where it took place." And it's safe to say that they successfully achieved that because each year the festival comes back, bringing more and more attention to the city's art scene!
