Actor Sean Connery Has Died at Age 90

The actor is known for his iconic lead role in seven James Bond movies.

Scottish actor Sean Connery has passed away at the age of 90, his family has reported.

The winner of an Oscar for best supporting actor, as well as three Golden Globes, Connery's career spanned six decades, and he was most well known for playing James Bond in seven of the franchise's films.

Some of his films include: Dr. No (1962), From Russia with Love (1963), Goldfinger (1964), Thunderball (1965), and You Only Live Twice (1967), Diamonds Are Forever (1971), Never Say Never Again (1983), The Untouchables (1987), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), and The Rock (1996).

Connery was knighted by the Queen of England in 2000, making him officially Sir Sean Connery.

No cause of death has yet been announced.
