Annapolis Restaurant Week has celebrated local eateries for 13 years now, and despite the major changes brought on by COVID-19, 2021's showcase will be as tasty and budget-friendly as ever. Around 40 establishments will be offering deals for dine-in and carryout services to the public on March 20 to 28. Contrary to the past, this year's emphasis on takeout is resulting in some pretty sweet perks. Wanna hint? Let's just say your breakfast mimosa will get to come home with you!

The special menus are set up as "prix fixe," which features two and three-course entrees at lower prices. Breakfast is between $9.95 and $15.95, lunch at $12.95 and $19.95, and dinner at $29.95 and $39.95. There are also gluten-free and vegetarian options, which makes the event accessible to diners of all palates.

Of course, Annapolis has lots of seafood. But diners can explore a wide variety of cuisine along Main Street, from French and Irish to American favorites. Luna Blu Ristorante does authentic Italian, Miss Shirley's Cafe is a must for their famous Fried Green Tomatoes, and Iron Rooster does a delicious brunch. For a truly decadent experience, The Melting Pot won't disappoint.

But the deals don't just stop at food. Restaurants are amping up their output with additional perks diners can score through the week. Carryout cocktails and liquor to-go will be offered, as well as parking validation and bonus deals you'll have to go see for yourself. Guests preferring to take a raincheck on indoor dining are welcome to purchase an online gift card for future visits.

Since we're still in a pandemic, and restaurant week is historically popular, you'll need to make a reservation if you plan on dining out. Reservations for indoor dining will be necessary since social distancing measures will require fewer people inside restaurants. Some restaurants may only operate on a first-come, first-served basis, so keep that in mind when choosing your spot. Groups will be limited to 6 people or less per table.

Restaurant Week is a great opportunity to enjoy quality cuisine while supporting your favorite businesses. Plus, take advantage of cocktails to-go while it lasts! You can browse the lineup here and reserve your spot, sooner rather than later. Be sure to visit their website or Facebook page for more updates. Cheers!
