The Washington, D.C., area loves its wine festivals, and we really want to make sure we keep enjoying them until the weather dictates otherwise.

The 2018 Virginia Wine Festival will offer two days of tastings from more than 200 Virginia wineries! If that doesn't sound like the perfect way to spend a fall weekend, I don't know what does!

WHEN: Saturday and Sunday, October 13–14 | 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
WHERE: Gateway Park in Rosslyn | 1300 Lee Highway, Arlington, VA 22 209
TICKETS: Between $30 and $95 per person | Learn more about all your ticketing options here

Take advantage of early bird sales and purchase VIP tickets for the price of regular tickets, for a limited time. You can also receive special deals on two day passes.

Over 200 Virginia wineries will be present at the festival, with each offering several wines each for you to taste. You will also be able to buy the bottles you fall in love with. Your ticket includes unlimited tastings.

All that wine might get you hungry, but don’t fret. Food trucks will line the perimeter of the festival, featuring everything from pizza to tacos, to vegetarian options, to even dessert. And as a bonus, this festival will highlight fresh, local oysters.

Personally, I think fall wine festivals can be just as fun as summer ones. In fact, the weather might even be a little cooler and more enjoyable!
