Just when you thought festivals were getting passe, Baltimore says "hold my beer."

Maryland's brewing scene is finally getting some love, thanks to the Baltimore Craft Beer Festival!

On Saturday, November 2, gather in Canton Waterfront Park for the biggest beer festival of its kind in Baltimore. Visitors will get to enjoy unlimited samples of Maryland beers, delicious bites from local restaurants, craft vendors, and live entertainment. As the Maryland Brewers Association's official beer festival, beer lovers are in for a big treat!

Guests will be able to sample from dozens of Maryland breweries, including Flying Dog, Crooked Crab, Union Craft Brewing, and more, all in an unlimited capacity. Food will be available to purchase from food trucks like BricknFire Pizza, Baltimore Crab Cake Co., and 2 Guys 1 Grill. The festival has also partnered with the bluegrass festival DelFest in bringing quality entertainment to the festival stage with Baltimore-area's Charm City Junction, Wicked Sycamore, and SoulTET.

Don't forget to check out the artisan vendors selling their wares! Visitors can browse everything from hot sauce to sunglasses, and watch a glass-blowing demonstration, courtesy of Valencia Glass. And for some extra fun, a Maryland Spirits Showcase will be taking place this year to honor Maryland Spirits Month. For only $10 more, a wealth of local spirits will be at your sampling disposal.

The Tasting Pass is $45 and comes with an exclusive event glass and unlimited drink samples. The Enthusiast Pass is $60 and includes early admission (12 p.m.), a drinking glass, and access to ultra-exclusive, seasonal beers.

Keep these things in mind as you plan your trip:

  • Blankets and lawn chairs are allowed.
  • Pets, outside food, tents, and coolers are not allowed on the premises.
  • Attendees will be able to access the festival until 4:45 p.m.

The festival is organized by the Brewers Association of Maryland. Proceeds will benefit Strong City Baltimore, a local initiative that supports social change and growth in the community.
