Miller injured a tendon in his ankle at practice on Tuesday.

Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller may be out for the upcoming 2020-21 season after suffering a tendon injury in his ankle, according to reports.

Miller is expected to have surgery, which could end his season. Recovery could take 5-6 months for. an injury like this. The team is currently waiting on MRI results.

Head coach Vic Fangio said, "He’s definitely out for awhile ... he will be on injured reserve at some point."

It's been a tough year for Miller, who, back in April, was diagnosed with coronavirus. He has since recovered.

Many NFL players took to Twitter last night to share their thoughts on the news:

We wish Von Miller a quick and speedy recovery!
