Camp Nassawango is a summer event that is being held by the Furnace Town Living Heritage Village this year! For five days (or however many days you choose), your children will go on an adventure that they won't soon forget. The camp provides campers with the opportunity to turn back the pages of time and learn about the history of the area, as well as explore the area's natural beauty through many cool pastimes!

For example, they'll get to the chance to play games that 19th-century children played in their spare time, sing and dance to songs that were popular during that time period, and learn Furnace Town activities, such as weaving, printing, and more. They'll also be able to learn about the science of the giant iron furnace that Furnace Town was built around, go on archaeology digs to discover more artifacts from the past, and find out how to identify animal sounds and tracks.
