Take me out to the ballgame!
Baseball is back, baby! Well, technically, it never left, but the COVID-19 season left a little to be desired for fans and players alike. The cardboard cutouts in stands were clever, but everyone missed going to Coors Field for a day out with the Rockies.
And we finally get to go back, albeit in a limited fashion, but we'll take what we can get!
The Colorado Rockies recently announced that fans will once again be let in the stand during home games, starting with the season opener on April 1.
Of course, the number of people will be limited and all health policies will be strictly followed, but it's a place to start!

According to the Rockies, 12,500 fans will be allowed into the stands, which is about 25 percent of Coors Field's overall capacity. The hope is with time and improvement in the pandemic situation, more fans will be able to attend games this season.
Of course, this year is set to be interesting for the team and fans, with the Rockies given basically zero chance (0.1 percent to be exact) of making the playoffs by Fangraphs.com, somewhat due to the worst trade in baseball history of Nolan Arenado to the Cardinals. I mean, seriously, the only way the trade could have been worse is if we'd traded him for a handful of McDonald's Filet-O-Fish vouchers, and even then ...
But the Rockies seem to rally when their back is against the wall. And we still have Charlie Blackmon, aka Chuck Nazty, who gives us some words of wisdom on learning from last year and looking forward to the upcoming season. Definitely worth a listen.
