Do you watch more than an hour and a half of "The Office" a day? USDish might want to pay you $1,000.

Would you believe The Office is 15 years old? The foundational and award-winning sitcom has inspired and entertained a countless crowd of fans since its debut on March 24, 2005. But this opportunity is for a super-fan.

USDish, an authorized reseller of satellite TV company DISH, wants to find "the biggest Office fan in the world" and pay them $1,000 to watch 15 hours of the show over nine days. But it won't be as easy as your routine binge. On their application page, USDish explains what they want their dedicated watcher to do:

As you’re watching, you’ll need to complete a checklist that tallies the number of common tropes that occur throughout each episode.

For instance, how many times does Stanley roll his eyes at the camera? How often does Phyllis talk about Bob Vance from Vance Refrigeration? The goal is to help us understand how often sitcoms repeat popular tropes. We’ll provide you with general guidelines to track your experience, but in true Kelly Kapoor fashion, we also want you to share your unfiltered opinions and reactions on social media.

So, a little homework for $1,000. Take notes on details, then blast your experience on social media.

In addition to the $1,000, the binge-watcher will receive a "winner's kit" of Office swag, including a Dundie, “World’s Best Boss” mug, Jell-O, and a stapler. They'll also be awarded a Netflix gift card (though the amount was undisclosed).

Who are they looking for?

USDish describes their ideal candidate: "We're looking for someone not superstitious, but a little stitious." Their whole application is replete with Office quotes, so it's clear they aren't to be truffled with. The applicants are asked to explain why they're the biggest Office fan, and it's recommended you link to a video with your submission.

You can already find some application videos out there, like this one from Lauren Utley on Youtube.

And this is for real?

This doesn't seem to be a Scott's Tots situation. Back in October 2019, USDish paid out $1,300 in a similar contest to watch 13 Stephen King movies (though they ended up technically picking a team of physicians from Rutgers University to watch them for science).

If this seems like your dream gig, we recommend you apply ASAP as possible—the deadline is March 16, at 5 p.m. MST.

How do you feel about the opportunity?

In other Office-related news, a children's book based on the characters will be released this fall (and we can't wait).

How much of The Office (or your binge-show of choice) would you say you watch in nine days?
