Old concerts and behind-the-scenes footage will live-stream on Facebook and YouTube.

The DC JazzFest may have been postponed until fall, but they're offering music lovers a virtual treat to tide them over during quarantine: live-streamed concerts!

Starting last weekend, the festival set up a virtual platform called the "From Home Series." Every Saturday at 7 p.m., viewers can enjoy past performances from world-renowned jazz artists, as well as exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from previous events. The roster features previous alums like Melissa Aldana, Rochelle Rice, and Kenny Garrett Quintet. The series is scheduled through June 6 and will air on the DC JazzFest's Facebook page and YouTube channel.

Originally scheduled for June, the annual DC JazzFest is one of the District's premier cultural destinations, celebrating the uniquely American art form through live performances and community outreach. Since debuting in 2005, the multi-day event has attracted thousands of visitors, with 2019 drawing an all-time high of over 148,000 people. Along with the annual festival, the organization provides music education programs for youth in public and charter schools around the city.
