The Denver Broncos will open their 2019 season on the road for the first time since 2010.

The 2019 schedule for the Denver Broncos has been officially released and it's shaped up to be the second-toughest schedule in the NFL. The opening game will be a "Monday Night Football" game against the Oakland Raiders.

New head coach Vic Fangio will welcome his former team, the Chicago Bears, as they face off against the Broncos at Mile High in Week 2.

The Broncos will play at Lambeau in Week 3 on Sept. 22. Speaking on that game, Von Miller stated, "That's good. That's the only thing I was worried about. We're going to be in Green Bay at the beginning of the year, I'm cool with that."

Week 7 will see the Broncos face Kansas City for a "Thursday Night Football" game on the Chiefs' home turf. The Broncos will be able to catch the Chiefs on short rest in a setting that tends to favor the home team. In 2018, home teams were 11-3 for "Thursday Night Football" games, excluding those that were actually played on Saturdays. Could this be a game in which the Broncos snap a seven-game skid against Kansas City? We'll see ...

Then, the Broncos will play Cleveland in Week 9, a matchup that ended the Broncos' postseason chances last year, while the Browns went on to have a season that ended in heartbreak. And finally, Week 10 is a bye week, but the Broncos will return to face a road-heavy slate of games in the latter part of the season.
