It's official! The Broncos have agreed to a two-year deal with former Minnesota Vikings quarterback Case Keenum.

The Denver Broncos officially announced on Wednesday, March 14, that free-agent quarterback Case Keenum has agreed to a two-year, $36 million contract -- with $25 million of that guaranteed. John Elway said in a statement released by the Broncos, "Case is a great fit for us. He's coming off a tremendous season last year and has obviously been through a lot of situations throughout his entire career ... Case has fought and battled for everything that he's earned in the NFL, and it's exciting to add someone with that type of mentality to our team." https://twitter.com/Broncos/status/974028201675509760
Last season, Keenum led the Vikings to the NFC championship game, with an 11-3 record during the regular season. He threw for 3,547 yards, 22 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. And after the tremendous upsets the Broncos have had over the last two years, it was about time the team got a quarterback with that much potential. Head coach Vance Joseph echoed this, stating, "Case is the perfect fit for our team, both as a player and as a person. He's playing the best football of his career right now and has gotten better with every opportunity he's had ... and we're looking forward to having him as a Bronco." Joining other quarterbacks Paxton Lynch and Chad Kelly, the 6'2", 209-lb. quarterback will bring with him some great leadership and work ethic skills that will hopefully have residual effects on the remainder of the team. We look forward to seeing what Case Keenum will bring to the Broncos as they enter the 2018-19 season! What do you think? Are you excited that Case Keenum has been signed by the Broncos? How do you think the team will do in the upcoming season, in comparison to the last two? Better or worse? Share your thoughts with us in the comments below.
