Save up to take advantage of the many great deals from Denver's eateries April 23 to May 2.
VISIT Denver has announced that Denver's annual Restaurant Week, which is generally held in February (pre-COVID times), is being pushed out to April 23-May 2, 2021.
The move was made to accommodate more patio dining to help local restaurants meet COVID guidelines so they could still serve their loyal foodie fans. It's hoped that later in spring Denver will see warmer temperatures, encouraging more people to dine out under the Denver sky. This is the second year in a row the event has been moved later in the year to help ease the effects of the pandemic on local restaurants and diners.
“We have an excellent culinary scene that is having a tough time right now through no fault of its own, so we wanted to build a new spring program that still offers as many to-go options as ever while increasing access to safe dine-in options, as well,” said Richard W. Scharf, VISIT DENVER president and CEO in a news release.
If you are a foodie or a restaurant who wants to get in on the action, here are a couple of important dates to remember:
- March 2: Registration for Denver Restaurant Week 2021 opens for restaurants that wish to participate.
- March 31: Menus for participating restaurants will go live, so you can check out your favorites and get your game plan together.
"Diners can now select eateries participating in the Denver 5-Star Certification program, which loosens capacity restrictions for restaurants that exceed mandated safety standards. Participating restaurants will all have safety guidelines in place, and we are encouraging to-go and delivery options, in addition to in-person dining," said the Denver Restaurant Week Facebook page. "As always, restaurants will create a multi-course dinner with one of three tasty price points: $25, $35, or $45."
