Denver Zoo Lights is almost here! For 33 years, this magical display has been creating wonder for young and old alike, and the Denver Zoo says this year will be bigger and better than ever! With 80 acres containing more than three million lights, entertainment, treats, and, of course, animal encounters, it's bound to be a sight.

It truly is one of the don't-miss light displays of the season. And, the zoo has added some new attractions this year that are not to be missed.

"This year, there’s more magic than ever—including new animated light sculptures, returning favorites, nightly ice-carving exhibitions and festive seasonal treats," writes the Denver Zoo. "And of course, it’s all happening at Denver Zoo! So there’s a good chance you’ll get to encounter an elephant, enjoy a tall boy with a giraffe or say hello to a hippo."

Tickets are now on sale to the general public, but get them while you can because this event sells out fast! The display will run from December 2 to January 7.

If you're looking for more holiday attractions in Denver, don't forget to visit the Mile High Tree or Christkindlmarket.
