Volunteers needed on Wednesday and Friday.

The Downtown Denver Partnership is asking for volunteers to help clean, pick up trash, pass out waters, and support downtown businesses. Volunteers are needed on Wednesday, June 3, and Friday, June 5, from 7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

"We have an intensified effort right now," said Tami Door, Downtown Denver Partnership President and CEO. "Our community is resilient and we will get through this."

Volunteers will meet in Skyline Park (on Arapahoe Street between 16th & 17th) starting at 7 a.m., where they will receive a volunteer assignment and supplies. Masks are required.

The following information was taken directly from the Downtown Denver Partnership website:

  • How you’ll be helping: let’s come together to collect trash, remove graffiti, and support our downtown businesses. The Downtown Denver Business Improvement District (BID) team will assess the needs and direct you to places in need of some love.
  • What you’ll need: be sure to wear your mask (and practice social distancing). If possible, please bring along gloves and/or trash bags.
  • What else you should know: the BID team will have done a first sweep, which will include removing any potentially dangerous substances from surfaces. Above all, we’re committed to your health and safety, and that of our entire community.

The organization is also asking that if "you are a downtown property owner or building manager in need of assistance at your building, to please fill out this form.
