Leap to National Delivery with Krispy Kreme

Krispy Kreme is promoting its new delivery service on Leap Day by celebrating the specialist deliveries of them all—newborn babies. On February 29, Krispy Kreme is sending dozens of donuts to hospitals, health professionals, and parents of Leap Day babies within 10 miles of participating stores. All you have to do is post on Instagram or Twitter about your newborn baby with the hashtag #KrispyKremeSpecialDelivery, and tag @KrispyKreme. A participating store will then reach out and offer to deliver 5 dozen original glazed donuts for free.

Free Chicken Sandwich from Popeyes and Postmates

Popeyes and Postmates are teaming up once again to provide us with some more chicken sandwiches. Anyone that orders a minimum of $15 worth of Popeyes Chicken from Postmates between February 24 and the 28 will get a promo code for a free chicken sandwich that can be redeemed on February 29.

Buy One Get One Lobsters at Legal Sea Foods

Stuff your face with lobster this Leap Day! Legal Sea Foods is putting on their “An Extra Day, An Extra Lobster” sale on February 29 that includes two one-pound steamed lobsters and a choice of two sides for $29. On a normal day, this deal is one lobster for $27.95, so you’re essentially getting an entire lobster for free! You can start to make reservations at Legal Sea Foods now so that you don’t miss out on this amazing deal. You can find a Legal Sea Foods in Washington, D.C., on 7th Street and in Union Station. If you're in Virginia, you can also find a Legal Sea Foods in Crystal City and Reagan National Airport. 

Olive Garden Gives Free Dolcinis to Leaplings and Discounts to Non-Leaplings

If you’re a leapling, or someone born on Leap Day, then you can celebrate all the birthdays you missed at Olive Garden. This February 29, Olive Garden is giving leaplings four free Dolcinis to celebrate this year's birthday as well as each one you've missed since the last Leap Day. 

If you’re not a leapling, Olive Garden still wants to give you a special deal. They’re offering a discount on their $5 take home deals, changing the first entrée cost to only $2.29 with the purchase of a dine-in entrée.

Leap “Birth” Day Special at The Graham

If your birthday falls on February 29, then you’re in luck! The Alex Speakeasy and the Graham Rooftop is offering a special to the first 29 guests that can show proof that their birthday lands on Leap Day. The deal includes a complimentary bottle of champagne and 50 percent off food.  

Free Beer for Leap Year

From noon to 10 p.m. on Leap Day, Port City Brewing in Alexandria is offering a free complimentary 5-ounce taster with all flight and pint purchases. If you’re a leapling, you can also get 11 percent off your drinks.

$2.29 Pizza from 7-Eleven

This leap day, you can stuff yourself with pizza without breaking the bank. Participating 7-Eleven stores are offering a whole pizza to its customers for just $2.29. They’re also wanting to advertise their new 7NOW delivery app, so new app users can use the promo code 29OFFNOW and get a $29 discount on a delivery over $50.

On February 29, Wayback Burger will offer $2.29 milkshakes to help us celebrate the extra day.

$29 Rooms at Great Wolf Lodge

This Leap Year, Great Wolf Lodge is offering a Leap Day sale that allows you to book a room at any of their 18 U.S. resorts for just $29 per person. You must book on February 29, and the offer is good for Sunday through Thursday night stays between April 13 and May 21, 2020. The special rate will only apply to family suites, so you’ll have to have at least two guests per room. A Night at the Kimpton Hotel for $29

Looking for a classy night on the town? Then, this deal is for you! The Kimpton Carlyle Hotel Dupont Circle is having a Leap Day sale that includes two different offers. For the first offer, you can get a $29/night room on any future Sunday night reservation in 2020. If you don’t have the availability to stay on a Sunday night, you can opt for the second deal which is a 29 percent discount for any future reservation from April 1 to December 31, 2020.

Travel to Philly for $2.29

If you’re looking for something to do between February 29 and March 1, you might want to consider a trip to Philly. To celebrate Leap Day, Megabus is partnering with Visit Philadelphia to offer a $2.29 fare to and from Philadelphia on February 29 and March 1. The deal is only available online, but a reservation fee of $2.50 will be added to your purchase. You can travel to and from Philly and Washington, D.C., Baltimore, or New York City.

A Free Extra Day to Workout at Gold’s Gym

Take advantage of the extra workout day with a free gym pass. This year, Gold’s Gym is inviting everyone into their gyms for a free day of classes and workouts. No membership is required, and all you have to do is grab a free pass here, check in at the front desk of your local gym, and complete a liability waiver and release form. You must be 18 years or older, and the deal is only available at participating locations. Be sure to check with your local Gold’s Gym to see if they’re participating in the deal.
