The Queso Club entitles members to 365 days of free queso at any On The Border restaurant.

On The Border has a special offer for fans returning to their restaurants, free queso! The casual Mexican restaurant is giving fans free queso for a year for just $1. All you have to do is sign up for the restaurant’s Border Rewards club and subscribe to the Queso Club.

Members of the Queso Club can get a free order of queso each time they dine in or get take-out at On The Border.

As the pandemic eases and restaurants return to 100% capacity, many brands are trying to entice people back into dining rooms. Hot dishes like dips and desserts are best served hot at the table instead of heated up in a microwave. On The Border’s queso is made in-house with tomatoes, onions, poblano, green chiles, jalapeño peppers, and nacho cheese.

"Queso is our number-one selling menu item; I've even heard firsthand from guests they're happily addicted!" said Chief Marketing Officer Edithann Ramey. "Our guests are already used to annual subscriptions for all kinds of things, but we wanted to give them a subscription that gives back. An entire year of free spicy, cheesy goodness for just $1? It doesn't get much better than that!”

To activate the queso subscription, you must sign up for the Queso Club and use a special QR code to activate it on your next visit to the restaurant. You can also activate it at queso365.com. The only caveat is you must order something in addition to the queso on your visit. So basically, you’ll have your appetizer taken care of for a year at On The Border. Border Rewards program members also earn points for every dollar spent and will receive special offers throughout the year.
