RVing is truly an experience

It's almost time for the football contest that shall not be named. Not sure what I'm talking about? I'll give you a hint: It rhymes with 'blooper troll,' and if you're going to throw an epic tailgate party using your RV here are the essentials:

Team Gear

Sadly, the Broncos haven't made it to the last game of the season, and that's not always a bad thing. Now we can enjoy each other's company and focus on what we really came for: Food, booze, the Puppy Bowl, and what we need to do next year. However, that doesn't mean you shouldn't dust off the old #7 jersey and wear it proud or raise a flag. This is America after all, and no tailgate is complete without representation. Without it, you'll just look lost.

Preprepared Food

When you're hosting a tailgate at your RV, you know that the small kitchen isn't going to cut it. Sure, you can still show off your grill, but pre-make the sides at home that way you can spend your time flipping burgers and posing like you're on the set of a light beer commercial. Fun fact: 1.33 billion chicken wings were consumed during last year's event.

Beer

Speaking of beer, football and beer go together go together like duct tape and pliers. And like duct tape and pliers, beer and football can fix just about anything. It doesn't matter what you like, just make sure you have beer on hand.

Lot Games

Cornhole, despite its name, has made its way into the collective consciousness as something that's necessary for most recreational gatherings. The tailgate is no different.

A Big TV with a Soundbar

The great thing about RVs is that they're a home away from home. Whether you've got to run a generator, or you're just going to plug into your deep cycle batteries, there's just something delightfully taboo about watching TV outside. Experienced RVs will be able to give you the lowdown on everything you need to get the game on.

Outdoor Furniture

Here's your excuse to go back to Cabela's. Tables, folding chairs, and if you're feeling ambitious, a pop-up awning can make you the tailgate pro of your friend group.

A Designated Driver

This one is self-explanatory, but the data shows that drunk driving crashes always spike on that Sunday of the big American challenge. Whether you're driving all of your friends home in the RV or they arrived separately, make sure everyone has a ride home.

The only thing left to do is have a SUPER time.
