You're not daydreaming—they really are having a $10 lottery for "Hamilton" tickets!

"Two Ways and Two Days in Advance" is the slogan for this incredible opportunity to see the award-winning Broadway hit Hamilton for the less than the price of a movie ticket. Show producers are offering a staggeringly low price ticket to 40 lucky people attending each performance.

Earlier this year, we announced the show's Virginia dates, and there are still a smattering of tickets available on the Altria Theater website and the Chrysler Hall website. If you don't have hundreds to spend on a theater trip, however, read on for instructions on entering the ticket lottery.

The concept behind the digital lottery is simple. You can enter two ways: online through the lottery website or by using the Hamilton app on your mobile device. Two days prior to the performance date, you can enter for a chance to purchase tickets at $10 apiece. That's it! If your name gets chosen in the lottery, you'll be contacted by the box office with information on how to buy up to two tickets at the special discounted price. How's that for an amazing deal?

To download the app, go to the App Store or the Google Play Store and just search for Hamilton—The Official App. The download is free, and you'll have access to the lottery platform, trivia, karaoke tracks, show news, and more.

In Virginia, Hamilton is playing in Richmond from November 19 to December 8 and in Norfolk from December 10 to December 29, so you've got a bunch of opportunities to see a performance in 2019.
