Most of us love both Starbucks and St. Patrick's Day, so of course, it's only right that we combine the two and indulge in a lucky green frappuccino from Starbucks. And thanks to our buds over at TotallyTheBomb (otherwise known as drink creators extraordinaire), we have the perfect drink idea.

The baristas are used to customers creating their drinks (otherwise known as "ordering off the secret menu"), but be sure to put on your best smile and bring the recipe along! Since this isn't a drink Starbucks created, your barista is almost certain to have never heard of it. Be friendly and patient.

Check out the simple four-step recipe below. (It might even save you from being pinched that day if you forget to wear any green.)

How to Order the Lucky Leprechaun Frappuccino From Starbucks' Secret Menu:

Ingredients:

  • Matcha Green Tea
  • Peppermint Syrup
  • Whipped Cream
  • Caramel Crunchies

Pro tip: Maybe wait until the line dies down before you spring your lucky drink on them!

Not a big fan of green tea? Try adding some vanilla, or ask your local barista what they recommend to give it a flavor you like!

Again, make sure you bring the recipe to show the barista! And while you're at it, why not pair your Lucky Leprechaun Frappuccino with some delicious Irish Coffee brownies?

We've also got a copycat recipe for the McDonald's Shamrock Shake if you want something without caffeine. Or if you're more inclined to the alcoholic variety, we've got plenty of fun St. Patrick's Day-themed drink recipes for you to try!
