"Viewer discretion is advised. You may see a lot of parts that you haven't seen before," says Henry Cavill, knee-deep in high-end gaming computer parts.

Henry Cavill, known to most for his work as Superman or Geralt of Rivia from The Witcher, is also a big fan of video games. It was his personal love for The Witcher 3 that led him to pursue the role of Geralt, and he's espoused a love for gaming in several interviews.

The most recent chapter in that love saga for gaming was a post on Instagram showing Henry Cavill building a high-end gaming computer—in fact, the video was included in our list for "4 Things You MUST See This Week". It's got fancy lights and all the parts, and, like would happen to anybody, the process of constructing it wasn't exactly smooth. Almost a million people liked the post, with just as many comments fawning over the computer as the bare-armed Cavill.

For the curious hobbyists, Cavill's PC specs are:

Inside:

  • Ryzen 9 3900X
  • G.Skill Trident Z RGB 32GB DDR4-3600 CL16 (2 x 16GB) RAM
  • Asus GeForce RTX 2080 Ti 11 GB ROG Strix Gaming OC GPU
  • Asus ROG Crosshair VIII Hero (Wi-Fi) motherboard
  • Samsung 970 Pro 1TB SSDs x 2
  • Fractal Design Define 7 case
  • NZXT Kraken Z73 liquid cooling
  • Seasonic Prime TX-1000 PSU

Outside:

  • Razer Huntsman Elite Keyboard
  • Asus PG279Q ROG Swift Monitor
  • Steelseries Arctis Pro Wireless Headset

Hopefully, this beauty of a computer will let him enjoy all the Warhammer and Cyberpunk 2077 he desires. Cavill has been vocal about how gaming is a good outlet for him to relax:

“Every time I step out my front door, I’m hyper-aware. Even if I’m not looking terrible, you still realise there are people taking sneaky photos of you, because that’s what people like to do. And then they put them on the internet and you see them on Instagram and you’re like, ‘Oh, my god.’ At home, I get to sit playing games for ridiculous amounts of hours and escape there, because going outside has the opposite effect.”

Are you more jealous of the PC or Cavill's jawline? What game would you play on that bad boy (I mean, the computer)? Comment below!
