The first Denver Metro Area location could be a reality by 2021.
Burger lovers and In-N-Out aficionados in the Denver area—you're dreams are closer to coming true!
The beloved burger chain submitted a proposal on Thursday, August 15, to open a location near Park Meadows Mall in Lone Tree. If approved, this would be the second location for the restaurant in Colorado, the first being built in Colorado Springs. The opening is scheduled for 2020 in the Springs location.
The Park Meadows restaurant is not planned to live in the actual mall itself, but it will be located close by on Westridge Rd. It aims to take over the Suds Factory Car Wash & Auto Detailing Center location. Interestingly, there are several restaurants on that block, including Chick-fil-A and Red Lobster, so In-N-Out could add some stiff competition for at least the chicken chain.

The Site Improvement Proposal (SIP) lays out a large, 3,687-square-foot building with a drive-thru, and a parking lot large enough for 26 cars, which will undoubtedly not be large enough to accommodate the initial rush of patrons, but the company feels it will be ample once things settle down. An outdoor seating area with a 1,300-square-foot canopy will also be available for a tasty meal on one of Colorado's famous sunny days, bringing the capacity of the entire restaurant to about 80 people. In addition, it plans to add three shifts-worth of job opportunities, with 15-20 employees per shift.
"In-N-Out Burgers is excited to propose the development of a new restaurant with drive-through situated on Lot 6 of Park Meadows...in Lone Tree, Colorado," says the proposal. "[We are] firmly committed to the City of Lone Tree’s mission to promote high-quality design, strong economic growth, and fostering a sustainable and healthy community."
The proposal has construction starting in 2020 and taking six months to complete. The opening-date goal is January of 2021. The restaurant will be open all days of the week from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. So, rev up those late-night munchies, because that might be the best time to et "In-N-Out" of the restaurant in a timely fashion.
