The WWE wrestler and actor celebrated his 40th birthday by posting a weightlifting video to his Twitter account.

Dedicated to proving that age is just a number, John Cena decided to celebrate going over the hill by deadlifting 602 pounds. https://twitter.com/JohnCena/status/856131818889891840 John Cena has been wrestling professionally since 1999, which makes this deadlift video even more impressive. Cena, easily the WWE's most popular star, raised eyebrows this year when he injected his real-life reluctance to propose to his girlfriend into this season's Wrestlemania story-line. "They say hell hath no fury like a woman scorned," Cena recently told Sports Illustrated, "and I can attest to that." Even with this added drama in his personal life, John Cena announced in another interview with ESPN that he is "far from retiring."

"I feel like I am at my physical best. I don't think it's any secret to anybody that this is what I love to do the most and I am far from over." If there was any doubt about his physical fitness, Cena's deadlifting Twitter video should certainly dispel those doubts. Deadlifting involves a lifting a loaded barbell up to the hips, holding it, and then releasing the bar back to the floor. The current world record for unassisted deadlifting was set by Eddie Hall in 2016, successfully deadlifting 1102.31 pounds. If you want to immediately feel physically insignificant, here is the video of Eddie Hall deadlifting more than half a ton. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9Y4o_BqC0A
