Chipotle is testing a new menu item: the Frozen Paloma Margarita. So, it's essentially a tequila slushie and we couldn't be more hopeful that it'll be available nationwide soon.

Yes. It's not in stores nationwide ... yet. If everything goes well during its test-run in New York City, though, then we could soon be seeing Chipotle's Frozen Paloma Margarita in Colorado, just in time for summer! In the meantime, we'll try to reel in our jealousy of those in New York who have tried the new tequila slushie. (It ain't gonna be easy! But we'll manage.) For those of you who don't know, Palomas are delicious tequila cocktails typically served with grapefruit soda like Fresca. Chipotle's new slushie drink is made with grapefruit, agave nectar, citrus, and Sauza tequila. And it's not very expensive either, only costing $6.20 for a 14-ounce cup.

It also pairs really well with a side of chips and guac. But then again, what doesn't? So here's to hoping that the new tequila slushie makes its way over here very soon! Especially since spring is now upon us and summer will be sneaking up any time soon. Could always use more summery drinks! And if you haven't, Chipotle does serve fantastic non-frozen margaritas. What do you think? Will Chipotle's Frozen Paloma Margarita be available nationwide? Or is it going to crash and burn like its failed queso recipe? Also, are there fun cocktails you like to drink just during the summertime? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
