June 26 marks the fourth year same-sex couples can be legally joined in matrimony in the United States.

If there's one thing I recall quite distinctly about that beautiful day in June, it's how happy my LGBTQ friends were to finally be able to have legal recognition for their relationships. They could have the same big, obnoxious white weddings that heterosexual couples enjoy, and reap the same privileges that marriage yields in terms of financial benefits and medical rights. Most importantly, they get to spend the rest of their days experiencing and enduring life's highs and lows with their favorite person.

On behalf of OCN, we wish all LGBTQ couples the very best that marriage has to offer, and if this is the year you pop the question or say "I do," believe us when we say we are very, very happy for you!
