Netflix has just released its 20 most binged tv shows. Here's the list of, not necessarily the most popular, but the ones most likely to have you hooked from the get-go.

We've all done it. Emerged from a blanket exactly one week after starting a new series, wondering what actually happened in the real world while you were immersed in the show. You might be confused when you look at a calendar. "Did I even go to work? Does watching Mad Men count as work? Am I an employee of an advertising agency in the 1960's?" Maybe you are, or maybe you just like to binge shows from start to finish. It's okay. We've all been there. This list in particular refers to "binge racers." According to Parade,

These 'binge racers,' as streaming site Netflix calls them, are viewers who bolt through an entire season of a show within 24 hours of its release, some hoping to be among the first in the world to finish the show. According to the company, 8.4 million subscribers have binge raced..."

Here are Netflix's 20 most binged.

Master of None

Starting out the list is Aziz Ansari's autobiographical dramedy. Where we all wanted more Tom backstory in Parks & Rec, this show fills that void. Here's the trailer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tGE-Mw-Yjsk

Chewing Gum

A sitcom based in London, this is the story of a 24-year old virgin who is trying to find her way in the world. It was written by and stars Michaela Coel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dpm3UcJd3no

Glow

Glow (Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling) is a fictional foray into the world of women's wrestling. It tells the story of Ruth Wilder and describes the very real woman's wrestling circuit in the 1980's. A feminist favorite, anybody can enjoy the humor and realistic action scenes in this Netflix Original. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wnKEoXbBTEw

LOVE

Watch Gus and Mickey try to figure out what love is. It's Judd Apatow but in TV form! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ym3LoSj9Xj8

House of Cards

One of my favorites; Kevin Spacey completely kills his lead role. Aimed at illustrating the corruption inherent in politics, it only keeps getting more intense as you binge it. Robin Wright also kills as Claire Underwood. Just watch it, you won't regret it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ULwUzF1q5w4

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

Kimmy, played by Ellie Ember, is rescued from a doomsday cult that she endured for 15 years. She gets a rude awakening in New York City figuring out what the world really is. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WwiVPkwY2ZE

Wet, Hot, American Summer

This is the prequel to everybody's favorite early 2000's comedy of the same name. It's the first day of camp! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PLlMTn_Jzok

Grace and Frankie

Lily Tomlin! Jane Fonda! It was created by Marta Kauffman (who you may know from Friends). The story starts out when Grace (Jane Fonda) and Frankie (Lily Tomlin) are left by their husbands who have come out of the closet together. Can these 70-somethings learn how to be single and ready to mingle at this age? This show is funny for everyone, so don't be perturbed by the target age group. It's like a modern-day Golden Girls. Lily Tomlin shines like in Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-In again. And she's a Michigan native! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CDv6PRi1SgQ

Atypical

This show shows what it's like to live and date on the Autism spectrum. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ieHh4U-QYwU

Friends from College

40-somethings who went to Harvard years ago join together in this comedy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SWUBRto1WZQ

Stranger Things

I love Stranger Things! Starring Winona Ryder in one of her best roles to date, this show follows a few different groups as they attempt to find the children that go missing in their small town. Can a stranger to town save them all? Can you make it back from "The Upside Down?" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XWxyRG_tckY

Orange is the New Black

This prison comedy has preceded itself. This show was one of the first Netflix originals. Did this show create the term "Binge-racing?" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzJATbm8U98

F is for Family

Inspired by comedian Bill Burr's real life, this animated favorite is set in the 1970's. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFzrvMS6P8g

Trailer Park Boys

"It's just me and the liquor now, Randy." RIP John Dunsworth. You really were "the liquor." Watch these "trailer park boys" try to become kings of their park. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L7-iA0D9lPY

Santa Clarita Diet

Drew Barrymore is a zombie in suburbia. Need I say more? It's returning for a second season. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xjRnbOgoAUQ

The Ranch

A "That 70's Show" reunion of sorts. According to MLive,

Set in the present day on a Colorado ranch, this show follows Ashton Kutcher as Colt, a failed semi-pro football player who returns home to run the family ranching business with his older brother and father whom he hasn't seen in 15 years."

The Seven Deadly Sins

Netflix says, "When a kingdom is taken over by tyrants, the deposed princess begins a quest to find a disbanded group of evil knights to help take back her realm." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jHYgHXt-6S4

Marvel's The Defender

Four of Marvel's favorites need to save New York City: Jessica Jones, Daredevil, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4h3m7B4v6Zc

Fuller House

This nineties favorite is back! This is so not, "rude!" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CXuGLswn2l0

Gilmore Girls

Another popular reprise, follow Lorelai in her love life and Rory in her journalism career. It's nine years later! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kGGNNSmGDpU That's it for the 20 most binged on Netflix. What are some of your favorites?
