Washington, D.C., is all about going out to eat, but what if you want to grab a bite pretty late -- after most places have closed?
Well, don’t fret because the city has some great late-night options out there, and they know you appreciate it. Here are four late-night menus to check out in the city, each with their own unique spin on special drinks and food!

Late-night menu: Friday and Saturday | till 11 p.m.
Fado is your classic, darkly lit, live-music-playing Irish pub, and it’s one of the most popular joints in the Chinatown neighborhood of Washington, D.C. Here you’ll find a large bar that stretches around the entire restaurant, high tops that often spill over with big groups, and cozy corner booths if you wanted to be
part of the action, but not actually
in the action.
The
late-night menu is a mix of Irish classic and comfort bar food. You can get your over-the-pond fix with some battered fish and chips or a corned hash Reuben. Or go for some good old-fashioned jumbo wings, which you can order in a half and full size. And don’t forget to water everything down with a Guinness or a Moscow Mule.

Late-night menu: As late as 1 a.m., depending on the day
Clyde’s can be described as elevated American in terms of both its
menu and atmosphere. It’s also located in Chinatown, right next to the Capital One Arena and the movie theater. Come here after a sports game or a good movie when you’re craving a burger, oysters, or some steak, but most other restaurants are already closed.
As far as
late-night menus go, Clyde’s is pretty extensive. You can order an array of burgers, including the ever-popular bacon cheeseburger and French dip sandwich. Or if you’re into a more lavish meal, order the jumbo lump crab cakes and steak frites. They often feature drink specials as well, so make sure to ask your bartender and take advantage of those.

Late-night oyster special: 10 p.m. to 12 a.m.
Though Hank’s Oyster Bar doesn’t have a traditional late-night menu, they do feature an oyster special that’s hard to resist. Every night from 10 p.m. to 12 a.m., the restaurant features a half-priced raw oyster bar. The deal is at the bar only, but it’s a large space and at that hour, you’re sure to find a cozy nook to enjoy your oysters.

Late-night menu: Every night | 12 a.m.–1 a.m.
Old Ebbitt Grill is one of the oldest dining establishments in Washington, D.C., and its location near the White House and other important federal buildings has made it the watering hole for politicians, journalists, and lobbyists.
The restaurant is famous for serving up some of the most classic dishes with the freshest ingredients, and the
late-night menu doesn’t disappoint. You can choose from an array of appetizers, such as the Rock Shrimp Tempura or the Crab and Artichoke Dip. Or go straight for an entrée portion and try the Bacon Horseradish Glazed Meatloaf or the Cornmeal Crusted Shrimp Platter.
