Just in time for spring, these peachy rolls are the latest drop from the company famous for its delicious breakfast products and that adorably doughy mascot. To say we're excited to try them is an understatement (our mouths are watering as we speak!). The best part? No round-trip to Georgia is required—consumers can enjoy this southern-inspired treat all over the country!
The cinnamon rolls consist of the signature Cinnabon flavor Grands! rolls are known for, featuring peaches and cream-flavored icing. Just pop these babies in the oven and you've got the perfect lazy day breakfast for two—or one!
According to the Instagram account CandyHunting, the new flavor came about from a contest through Pillsbury's mailing list. People were invited to vote between two new cinnamon rolls flavors; birthday cake or peaches & cream. The latter claimed the winning victory, which makes sense considering it's a winning flavor combination. Peaches. Cream. What's not to like? The fact it also gives you an excuse to eat fruit cobbler for breakfast is a win in our books.
This isn't the first time Pillsbury's dabbled in sweet fruit desserts–in January this year, they released Strawberry & Cream Cinnamon Rolls, complete with ballerina-pink icing and that melt-in-your-mouth gooeyness.
The Peaches & Cream Cinnamon Rolls come in containers of five and retail at $3.89/can, which is a bargain compared to your favorite brunch spot. If you're itching to get your hands on these, retailers like Target, Kroger, HEB, and Wegman's have already started selling them. So make haste! These are limited-edition and won't be around for long.
