Recall: Multiple Brands of Hot Dog and Hamburger Buns for Containing Pieces of Plastic

Shards of plastic were found in the production equipment.

Yet another food product has bit the recall bug – this time, it's hot dog and hamburger buns! Flower Foods has issued a nationwide recall for multiple brands of hot dog buns, hamburger buns, bread, and dinner rolls because they may contain shards of plastic. They're being deemed a choking hazard.

The recall includes several popular name brands, such as Nature's Own, Home Pride, Wonder, and Great Value.

The recalled bread products were shipped to 18 states across the U.S., including Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia.
