Hide your kids, hide your formula! Parent's Choice baby formula may be contaminated with metal. 

Parent's Choice Advantage Infant Formula Milk-Based Powder with Iron (sold exclusively at Walmart) has been recalled due to possible contamination with a foreign metal.

Perrigo issued the voluntary recall of 23,388 containers of their powdered baby formula on Friday and is urging users not to consume the product. The containers are sold exclusively at Walmart

What Is Being Recalled

Their 35-ounce, 992-gram containers with lot codes C26EVFV and a "use by" date of Feb 26, 2021, which can be found on the bottom of the container. The containers are being recalled out of an abundance of caution as there is no guarantee that every container is safe. 

According to the FDA, "No adverse events have been reported to date, and the recall is being initiated out of an abundance of caution stemming from a consumer report. No other products or retailers are affected by this recall."

What To Do

If you think you may have given your infant some of the contaminated baby formula, consult with your doctor immediately. If you have any questions or concerns, you can contact Perrigo at (866) 629-6181. 

The company is urging parents not to feed their babies the formula and return the product to the store for a full refund, or dispose of the product properly!
