This weekend was the 10th annual North Dallas Veggie Festival and it was perfect timing. The weather was a cool 65 degrees and everybody was out, even fur babies were welcomed. The festival had many different types of food and vendors, loads of guest speakers, and even live music with a DJ. Tickets for this event are free unless you would be VIP, which in that case tickets are $50. With these tickets, you get free nearby parking, a guaranteed goodie bag, a $10 V-Eats gift card and so much more.

The different food from vendors filled the room with so many good smells it was hard to pick which one to eat first. From restaurants such as V-Eats and Sprial Cafe to Dumpling Haus and Cinnaholic and many others, there was plenty to choose from. While eating you can walk around and look at the different vegan products for humans and dogs. There were stations to adopt a pet and stations to donate to good causes.

The Festival schedule had speakers come and talk about what they have been doing in and for the local vegan communities. Kendric Farris, the Sustainable Duo, and Carol Adams, to name a few, were featured among the assortment of amazing speakers. There was even yoga for beginners scheduled every hour for 30 minutes and I, for one, have found a new love. The festival may be over but you can still check out the vendors and restaurants through their website. Check out their website here: https://www.texasveggiefair.com
