In an effort to keep people safe as they ring in the New Year, RTD will be offering free rides on all of its buses and trains.

As we welcome in 2022, we might get a little carried away and party a little too hard. So don't worry about how you're going to get home, because RTD has got your back.

This New Year's Eve, in an effort to prevent people from drinking and driving, free rides will be given on all bus and train lines. The free rides will be available from 7 p.m. (Friday, December 31) to 7 a.m. (Saturday, January 1).

"Go out, be merry and leave the driving to us as you celebrate new beginnings with 2022," RTD General Manager and CEO Debra A. Johnson said. "Through a partnership with Molson Coors, RTD is offering free rides across the transit system to New Year’s Eve partygoers."

Plan trips, find a route, and get schedule information at rtd-denver.com.
